I make new instruments of the violin family by hand in the traditional way. High quality workmanship is essential to my craft. The instrument's sound and playability are extremely important to me and to my customers. I use seasoned tonewoods and traditional oil varnishes and pigments.

The Cremonese violin making style and tradition, especially the works of Antonio Stradivari (1644 - 1737) are my greatest inspiration. The Cremonese style can be seen in my work both visually and structurally. I make most of my instruments according to Stradivari's patterns and moulds but I also use the models of the Guarneri family.
